RISC-V Cat

An implementation of the GNU cat command in pure RISC-V assembly as my attempt to learn how to program in RISC-V.

No AI was used in the making of this program.

Building (Linux):

Install the assembler and linker: sudo apt install gcc-riscv64-linux-gnu

Run the make command in the root of the repository.

Usage

cat [OPTION]... [FILE]...

Options:

-b, --number-nonblank - number nonempty output lines, overrides -n -E, --show-ends - display $ at end of each line
-n, --number - number all output lines --help - Show the help page.
--version - Show the version page.
