# RISC-V Cat An implementation of the GNU `cat` command in pure RISC-V assembly as my attempt to learn how to program in RISC-V. No AI was used in the making of this program. ## Building (Linux): Install the assembler and linker: `sudo apt install gcc-riscv64-linux-gnu` Run the `make` command in the root of the repository. ## Usage `cat [OPTION]... [FILE]...` Options: `-b, --number-nonblank` - number nonempty output lines, overrides -n `-E, --show-ends` - display $ at end of each line\ `-n, --number` - number all output lines `--help` - Show the help page.\ `--version` - Show the version page.
